The mission of Fonds de K is to raise the funds needed to create housing for adults with intellectual disabilities, and to generate income to financially support the organizations that create and manage the homes.
Professional support, medical supervision, and quality of life cost approximately 20% of the operating costs of a home, as well as 30% of the initial investments, and cannot be financed despite the efforts of families and the State.
Only donations from businesses and families can fill this gap.
The K Fund exists to raise these funds and provide supplementary income to homes for adults with intellectual disabilities for decades.
